This blog began in late 2006 with the planning and preparation for a circumnavigation of the world in my 39-foot sail boat Pachuca. It then covered a successful 5-year circumnavigation that ended in April 2013. The blog now covers life with Pachuca back home in Australia.

Departure Date
Arnold and I had a pow wow last night and decided to have the boat ready for sailing on 1 April. We expect to sail on April 1, 2, or 3 depending on the weather. We may stop at Kuai, the next island up, on the way.
I wish you well on your transit to the Pacific NW. I made the trip from Honolulu last summer. Hope I will be able to visit you on the dock wherever you are able to land here.
