Final Engine Fitting

This morning I arrived at the boat to find Joel working on the final fit of the engine.  He had the engine suspended from a board spanning the companion way and was making preparations for fitting the steel engine mount caps that had been drilled for the engine mounts.  It was hot, sweaty, and cramped down below so I wisely went away and let Joel get on with it in peace.

On the way out I had a look at the progress on the new cockpit instrumentation housing.  I think that it will work out very well and give Pachuca a more modern look, not to mention the primary objective of protecting the instruments from the elements.

Brenda's footpath challenge of the day is the long drop. Some householders take over the verge in front of their property and restyle it to their own requirements. This footpath leads to ......oblivion?  Note the sofa.
