This blog began in late 2006 with the planning and preparation for a circumnavigation of the world in my 39-foot sail boat Pachuca. It then covered a successful 5-year circumnavigation that ended in April 2013. The blog now covers life with Pachuca back home in Australia.

Photos: Round Cabo San Lucas to Bahia Los Frailes

The first photo is of the chart plotter just after we rounded Cabo San Lucas. The plotter is fully overlayed with the chart, AIS, radar image (purple), and range rings. The red line shows our heading, the green line shows our actual course.

The second photo is of our approach to Bahia Los Frailes. Arnold and I were to climb to the top of that headland a few days later.

The next photo is of Pachuca at anchor.

And finally there was the welcoming committee of two pelicans on the beach.
