This blog began in late 2006 with the planning and preparation for a circumnavigation of the world in my 39-foot sail boat Pachuca. It then covered a successful 5-year circumnavigation that ended in April 2013. The blog now covers life with Pachuca back home in Australia.

Sea trial and back to her pen
On Saturday 1 June Bruce, Dolphie and I motored from the works jetty out to the shipping channel then back to Pachuca's home at pen D81. After the boat was safely tied up I had a look at the main part of the bilge under the cabin table and found it to be bone dry, the first time that I had ever seen this after a run out to sea.
