I wore my Rockingham Yacht Club polo shirt to the first day of the Pt Townsend Boat Show yesterday and the host of one of the boats recognized the place and said that he had friends from Perth. I told him that I was from Perth and he replied that his friends are from a suburb called Darlington. Well ... er ... I'm from Darlington too, I tells him. His friends are from Brook Road. I gave him my Beenong Road address. He took a photo of us which he will email to us and show to his Darlington friends next week.
Teeny World indeed.
This blog began in late 2006 with the planning and preparation for a circumnavigation of the world in my 39-foot sail boat Pachuca. It then covered a successful 5-year circumnavigation that ended in April 2013. The blog now covers life with Pachuca back home in Australia.
