This blog began in late 2006 with the planning and preparation for a circumnavigation of the world in my 39-foot sail boat Pachuca. It then covered a successful 5-year circumnavigation that ended in April 2013. The blog now covers life with Pachuca back home in Australia.

Not gold plated. But a nice silicon bronze that will never rust out.
Robert: the exhaust riser has a hose bushing installed on it. Standard exhaust hose size is 1 3/4" This hose bushing allows you to use the 2 inch hose, and muffler we installed in PT. Secure it with a single t-bolt clamp. I think there is one on your Sabb. Did you see the gear cooler, its bronze also.
Fuel filter/priming pump could be removed to get better excess for oil change. It just has rubber hoses. You could mount it next to your Racor if you wanted
