This blog began in late 2006 with the planning and preparation for a circumnavigation of the world in my 39-foot sail boat Pachuca. It then covered a successful 5-year circumnavigation that ended in April 2013. The blog now covers life with Pachuca back home in Australia.

Roche Harbor Air Port
Anyone wanting to anchor at a float plane runway and taxiway should visit Roche Harbor.
The first 5 photos show the plane taxing around Pachuca. The next one shows the plane at the "terminal". The second-last shot shows the plane gunning its engine amid the anchored boats. If you enlarge the photo you should be able to see the wake from its propellor. The last photo shows the plane trying to become airborne.
